Rico Samba is an original Brazilian music project born from the desire to create a modern, romantic and heartfelt samba that speaks to today's audience without losing its roots. The sound blends samba, bossa, choro, modern pagode and MPB, always with the swing of the samba circle as its starting point.
The lyrics speak of relationships: love, longing, desire, arguments, reconciliation, pride and new beginnings. They are direct, heartfelt stories, made to sing, remember and share — from the intimacy of a solo guitar to the energy of a samba circle.
The original repertoire includes songs such as “Você”, “Doce Amor”, “Armadilhas do Amor”, “Mais Você”, “Amor e Razão”, “Fala na Cara”, “Brigas” and “Saudade”, all part of the Jeito de Sambar project — a body of work that gathers meetings and farewells into a modern, intimate and Brazilian samba.
More than songs, Rico Samba offers an experience: recognizing, in each song, a piece of your own story. Everyone has a samba all their own.
